About the company:

The building of the Tyumen regional museum "City Duma" was built in the second half of the XIX century. and is a magnificent example of the style of Russian provincial architecture. The high staircase and the stepped Attic, which give it harmony, are successfully combined with the Corinthian portico and massive columns - traditional architectural elements for buildings of state institutions.

The permanent exhibition “Window to Nature” introduces the diversity of flora and fauna of the Tyumen region, its ancient inhabitants. An integral part of the local history museum “City Duma” in Tyumen can be considered a small paleontological museum – a collection consisting of complete skeletons of a mammoth, a fossil bison, a woolly rhinoceros, a cave bear, is unique and rightfully considered one of the most valuable. In addition, visitors will get acquainted with the botanical, zoological, entomological collections.

The City Duma Museum has two exhibition halls, which regularly open new exhibitions of exhibits not only from the collections of the Museum Complex, but also from other museums in Russia, as well as private collections. Various in content, they always attract visitors of all ages.
