Museum-library d. Vata

The museum has two employees and one researcher. The museum collection includes more than one thousand seven hundred items, one thousand five hundred items of the collection are presented in the exposition and are included in the main funds of the museum. In September 1995, Velikorodova T.V. created a museum at the school of Vata. In January 2000, the museum went beyond the school and acquired the status of an independent museum and library. Visitors, coming for a book, get acquainted with the exposition of the museum, the history of the village. Residents treat the museum with great interest, willingly give exhibits, photographic documents.

The main directions of the museum: the old-timer population, the revival of traditions, rituals, culture of the region. The Vata Museum-Library operates in the form of a non-profit institution with a specialization in local history, that is, it does not have as the main goal of its activity the extraction of profit and does not distribute the profit received between the participants. Museum-library d. Vata is a municipal subordination organization. The museum is primarily engaged in cultural activities.
