Tyumen region, Tyumen, St. Republic, 18
About the company:
The Museum "Estate of Kolokolnikovs" is the only preserved in Tyumen classic merchant manor. The facade of the building is made with a combination of elements of neoclassicism, baroque and traditional Tyumen carvings. A single stylistic space is created by interiors: a luxurious hall, the walls of which are decorated with picturesque portraits of the Kolokolnikov family, and a shopping shop.
The permanent exposition of the Kolokolnikov estate museum “History of the House of the XIX-XX centuries” is devoted to the history of the merchant families of the Ikonnikovs and Kolokolnikovs, historical events that took place in this house. One of them is a visit to the house in 1837 by the future Emperor Alexander II, in whose retinue was the great Russian poet V.A. Zhukovsky. In 1919, the headquarters of Marshal V.K. Blucher was located here.
