About the company:
The cinema "Rodina" appeared in Ufa in 1953, when the construction of a new building was completed. The expressive building with white columns in the style of the “Stalin Empire” was built according to the project of the Moscow architect M.S. Yakshin. Today it is included in the list of cultural heritage sites.
Initially, the cinema had three halls of different capacity: the so-called “red” and “blue” halls could accommodate 350 spectators at the same time, and the “green” documentary hall was designed for 60 seats. In the 1990s, the Ufa cinema received the status of the Center for Russian Cinematography, and its building underwent reconstruction, as a result of which the equipment was completely replaced by modern digital devices.
The cinema "Homeland" is popular among residents of the city. Its employees strive to constantly please their viewers with new products. At the cinema there is a club of fans of domestic cinema, a musical art club "Yellow Submarine", as well as regular weeks of thematic cinema - both Russian and foreign.
