Theatre - Bashkir State Philharmonic of Ufa
About the company:
Today, the Bashkir State Philharmonic is a harmonious combination of genres and forms, uniting several independent creative units: six pop groups, a musical and literary lecture hall, the State Academic Choir Chapel of the Republic of Belarus and the concert orchestra of the Bashgosphilarmonia. In the Philharmonic there are two halls - the Big (for 683 seats) and the Small - organ hall (for 380 seats). The main activities are the creation of musical programs; the rental of a repertoire prepared both in-house and by the artists invited to the tour. The Philharmonic hosts concerts, show programs, mass festivities, folklore holidays. The creative team is engaged in the creation and implementation of booklets promoting culture and art. They make and repair musical instruments. The training of musical directors of various creative groups, artists of the choir, ensemble, orchestra; scientific and informational and methodological activities; image advertising, market research, public opinion. But perhaps the most important thing is the preservation of folk musical traditions. It is known that the Bashkir folk song is a phenomenal phenomenon in the world musical culture in terms of intonation and rhythmic complexity and high requirements for the performer. The pride of the Philharmonic is the masters of vocals, organically combining in their work the natural charm of the Bashkir long song with a high vocal culture of the European level. All this fully applies to the soloists of the Bashgosphilarmonia, the favorites of the public Flyure Kildiyarova, Idris Gaziev, Vakhit Khyzyrov, Nazif Kadyrova. These artists honorably represented Bashkir performing art in Germany, Austria, Holland, France, Turkey and other countries. Their solo concert programs, combining the world classical repertoire and the pearls of Bashkir folklore, attract the discerning listener with the versatility of the performing style. The business card of Bashkortostan, a symbol of its national spirit is the kuray - an unpretentious at first glance tool made of reed. Performance on this instrument requires a specific breath, a natural gift of improvisation, a special skill, the standard of which is the work of leading musicians of the Philharmonic - Azat Aitkulov, Ishmurat Ilbakov, Ramil Gaizulin, Robert Yuldashev. The character of the Bashkir people, its customs and history is represented by the folklore ensemble “Yadkar” (“Heritage”). Talented artists who know their national culture and are ready to serve its popularization are revered not only by the republican public. Kaleidoscope of folk instruments (kuray, kubyz), bright costumes, exquisite melodies - all this is the ensemble "Yadkar", which for several decades! pleases with its art fans of Bashkir folklore, living far beyond Bashkortostan. Another bright team of the Philharmonic is the folklore and pop group “Caravanserai”, which became a laureate of the All-Russian competition and a diplomat of the International Festival. The ensemble breathes new life into the sound of folk tunes. Reinterpreted in modern rhythms, surrounded by a spectacular entourage in the style of a pop show, the songs beloved by the people become closer and more interesting for the younger generation of listeners. Among the philharmonic groups there are also their "academics". This is the State Academic Choir Chapel of the Republic of Belarus, which has mastered a huge repertoire, including such large works as “Bells” by Rachmaninov, “Requiem” by Verdi, Mozart and Kerubini, “Carmina Burana” by Orff and original works by composers of Bashkortostan. Capella fruitfully cooperates with such leading ensembles of Bashkortostan and Russia as the National Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Belarus, the orchestra of the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater, the chamber orchestra of the Tyumen Philharmonic. The uniqueness of the Bashkir choral chapel is that thanks to its activities, the Bashkir musical culture was replenished with choral treatments of folk songs and author's compositions of composers of the Republic of Belarus, specially writing for this team. In the Bashkir State Philharmonic there is one small, but very mobile creative team - a musical lecture hall that performs the tasks of popularizing musical classics. It consists of 20 people – soloists, vocalists, instrumentalists, lecturers, musicologists, giving more than a hundred concerts a month. Recently, the artists of the lecture hall work a lot and fruitfully with the children's audience. Concerts for children are entertaining and informative at the same time. As a rule, it is a bright spectacle with elements of theatricalization. “Teach by entertaining” became the motto of the lecture hall artists in working with the younger generation. Step by step they lead children on the steps of musical knowledge, bringing them a love for classical music. The subject of special pride is that the Philharmonic has an excellent chamber organ of the German company Sauer. Ufa organists and visiting musicians gather full halls at organ music evenings. A wide range of listeners is attached to the beauty of the sound of the “king of instruments” on organ subscription cycles. All evenings are sold out with the participation of the first Bashkir organist, Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus Vladislav Murtazin and the first female organist Elvira Khairutdinova. In the last years of the creative life of the Bashkir State Philharmonic, new traditions were born. Every year, several evenings are devoted to chamber music at concerts of the organ festival and improvisational at jazz festivals. These already traditional marathons are always held in full halls, attracting the Ufa listener with a parade of stars on stage. The palette of jazz forums is so diverse and representative that residents of the largest cities of Russia and even the world can envy Ufa residents. Once, in the 80s, a brilliant jazz band Dustar worked in Ufa, headed by saxophonist Marat Yuldybayev. Their professionalism and skill attracted the attention of jazz lovers, and a new generation in the face of saxophonist Oleg Kireev, Ufa jazzmen clothed the long-standing aspirations of listeners in the form of festivals. Every year for several days the Great Hall of the Philharmonic turns into a jazz Mecca, where fans of the "troubled brainchild of the XX century" - jazz tend. The names of the concert participants do not need recommendations - this is pianist Daniil Kramer, supertrio Alexei Kuznetsov, Vladimir Danilin, Alex Rostotsky, the St. Petersburg duo Hasan Bagirov - Robert Pilyakalnis, the brilliant trio of Vyacheslav Gorsky, saxophonist Igor Butman, professor of the Academy in San Marino famous pianist Igor Brill, Americans Paul Bollenbek, Skip Parente, star of Brazilian jazz Celio De Carvalho, the best jazzmen of our country Sergey Manuko, Sergey Manukoi, and many others. The participant of all festivals is a concert orchestra created in the Philharmonic under the direction of Georgy Markorov (previously it was called a symphonic jazz orchestra). Musicians along with other young bands (string quartet, instrumental trio "Contrast") are popular with the musical community. Actively participating in cultural life, the Bashkir State Philharmonic largely forms the musical policy in the Republic of Bashkortostan. And this is one of the few bands that even during summer holidays gathers listeners for music evenings.
