Theatre - National Youth named after M. Karim, Ufa

The National Youth Theatre of the Republic of Bashkortostan was founded in 1989 as the Republican Theatre of Young Spectators. In 1995, by the decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus, it was renamed the National Youth Theatre of the Republic of Belarus. At the origins of the revival of the theater was Gilazev Gabdulla Gabdrakhmanovich - Honored Worker of Arts of the Russian Federation, laureate of the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus named after S. Yulaev, Professor, Head of the Department of Theatre Mastery of the Ufa State Institute of Arts. He initiated the recruitment of students for a targeted acting course for the future of theater. For 5 years, he painstakingly put his idea into practice. On November 14, 1988, an agreement was signed with the Union of Theatre Workers of the Republic of Belarus and the State Institute of Arts on the organization of the Youth Theatre-Studio. Students of the 5th year on the terms of self-accounting themselves earned money, organized tours in the districts and cities of Bashkortostan. The first performance on the stage of the theater was the play by G. Vysotsky and O. Kolchinskaya “Who stole the tram?”, directed by Linar Akhmetvaliyev. The most difficult thing for the youth theater is to find your face. This problem was solved by the Ufa Theatre in the first performance “Idukai and Muradim”, created based on the Bashkir epic by M. Burangulov, directed by D. Absalyamov (1990). A play about the heroism of the people and the complex dramatic fate, about its mighty batyrs, good and evil, truth and lies. The main task of the theater is the formation of a repertoire with a romantic orientation, the introduction of children and youth to the world of beauty and goodness by means of theatrical art. The repertoire of the theater includes Russian and foreign classics, modern play and national drama. M. Karim “The Joy of Our Home” and “Pesh Mahmut”, A. Arbuzov “Cruel Games”, A. Ostrovsky “Profit Place”, B. Brecht “Mother Courage and Her Children”, D. Singh “Hero”, V. Rosezov “Forever Living”, A. Slapovsky “Clinch”, G. Gorin “The Plague on Both Your Houses”, E. Rostan “Romantics”, T. Jugenoglu “Aval”, T. Minnullin “Four Grooms” Dilyafroy and my friend. For children there are performances: G. Kornelisson “Cinderella”, V. Olshansky “Ivanushkino happiness”, S. Marshak “Twelve months”, V. Gauf “Kalif Aist”, R. Uraksin “Fly-Tsokotukha”, S. Surin “Golden axe”, I. Valiyev “The Legend of the book of love”, N. Gaitbayev “Who does not work – does not eat”, O. Proklov “Petrushka and Vityaz”, etc. In 1999, a chamber stage was opened, which allowed directors to experiment and search for new forms. The program “Classics on the Chamber Stage” has already developed, it included such performances as “Colombina and two Piero” by E. Rostand, “These Free Butterflies” by L. Gersh, “Valentin’s Day” by I. Vyrypayev, “Dembel Train” by A. Arkhipov, etc. Since its foundation, the theater has been a permanent participant of republican, Russian and international competitions: International Festival "Flight of the Seagull" (St. Petersburg, 1995), International Festival "Theater without Borders" (Magnitogorsk, 1999), V Russian Theatre Festival "Tsar-Fairy Tale" (Velikiy Novgorod, 1998), Festival for Children and Youth "Real Theatre" (Yekaterinburg, 1999). The final show of performances dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of Alexander Pushkin “Pushkin Stage” (Moscow) and others. The theater was also invited as a guest to the International Festivals of Turkic-speaking theaters "Tuganlyk" (Ufa) and "Nauruz" (Kazan), IV International Festival - Competition "Golden Horse", V All-Russian Festival for Children and Youth "Golden Turnip" (Samara). At the V Republican Festival "Theatrical Spring - 2003" the theater became a laureate in the nomination "Best Direction" for the play "Polovets Mystery" by F. Bulyakov directed by popular art. In the nomination "Best male role" was awarded art. RB M. Usmanov for the role of Khyzyr ("Polovets mystery" F. Bulyakov). Special prizes were awarded to the main dir. M. Kulbayev “For the modern interpretation of the work of R. Kipling” and R. Fathiyev “For the embodiment of the image of Mowgli”. The title "People's Artist of the Republic of Belarus" was awarded to the theater artist, the title of art. RB O. Musin, the title "Honored Artist of the Republic of Belarus" was awarded to the artist of the Bashkir troupe Z. Davletbayev and A. Kashanova. The winner of the theatrical award "Altyn Ai" in 2003 in the nomination "Best male role" was the artist of NMT RB, the title of art. RB Nurgalin (for the role of Truffaldino in the play "Servant of two masters" K. Goldoni). The "Press-2004" rating was conducted. The absolute winner was called the play by T. Giugenoglu “Avalanche” (Director Linas Zaikauskas). The production of “The Joy of Our Home” based on the stories of Mustay Karim is a regular participant in republican and Russian festivals. The performance has won many awards and awards. At the VI Republican Festival "Theatre Spring - 2005" (Sterlitamak), "The Joy of Our Home" was declared the best performance of the year (diary - M. Kulbayev). He became the winner in four nominations: directing – M. Kulbaev, stage design – E. Gizatullin, musical design – R. Sagitov. The male role of the second plan - I. Idrisov. In 2005, for the productions of “The Joy of Our Home” by M. Karim and “Til”, G. Gorin M. Kulbayev was awarded the State Republican Youth Prize named after Sh. Babich. In the city public youth award "Avante" this performance was recognized as the best theatrical production for young people. At the IV international festival of Turkic-speaking theaters "Tuganlyk" the chief director of the Russian troupe, laureate of the State Republican Youth Prize named after Sh. Babich Musalim Kulbayev was awarded a special prize of the International organization "TURKSOY" "For the preservation of national traditions". For the role of Gulnur actress Aida Akhmetova received the prize “Hope”. The success of the theater in its creative team, where highly professional actors work: art. of the Russian Federation L. Vorotnikov, People's Artists of the RB R. Salimgareev, V. Kalmantaeva, O. Musin, Honored Artists of the RB M. Usmanov, L. Akhmetvaliev, N. Nurgalin, A. Kashanova, Z. Davletbaeva, M. Saifullin, I. Khabirov, M. Kurbangaleev, V. Kamalov, etc. The success of the theater team was appreciated by the President of the Republic of Belarus M.G. Rakhimov in the Year of Youth (2000) - the theater was allocated funds for the construction of a new theater building. The actors received makeup, a full-fledged stage, a stage circle, hatches, failures, modern equipment, a high level of light and sounds, a large hall (417 seats) and a chamber stage (87 seats) were enlarged. Over 18 years of work, 139 performances were staged in the theater, many of which were recognized outside the republic, and received the main prize - the love of the audience. The theater does not stop at the level achieved, it goes further and further, gaining new loyal friends and spectators, perfecting its skills.
