Bashkir State Medical University

Established in 1932, Bashkir State Medical University is the largest center of higher medical education and science in the region, and also occupies one of the leading places among the best medical universities in Russia. The university has 150 doctors and 350 candidates of sciences, 2 full members of the Republican Academy of Sciences and 3 corresponding members.

The university includes six faculties: medical, pediatric, pharmaceutical, dental, higher nursing education, medical and preventive, as well as microbiological and social work faculty. Some faculties have day and evening departments. More than 5,000 people study at the university annually.
