Republic of Bashkortostan, Russia 190 km FZ

Description:

Irendyk is a mountain range located in the southeast and east in the Republic of Bashkortostan, one of the easternmost ridges of the republic.

The length of the ridge is 135 kilometers, and the highest point is 987 meters. In its composition, it is composed of diabases, porphyrites and limestones, and in the north, Devonian vulcanites.

The northern part of the slope is covered with taiga forests, and the southern part is a typchakovo-drying steppe. Irendyk is recognized as one of the most beautiful areas of the Yashm belt of the Urals. It is rich in ancient settlements, cities, abandoned villages, workshops and burial grounds. On the eastern side of the slope is the picturesque Ibrahimovsk waterfall.

The ridge is divided into two parts, the south and the north, which are often regarded as two independent but eponymous ridges.
