Dem Park of culture and recreation in the city of Ufa

Demsky Park is one of the favorite places of recreation of Ufa residents. At the service of visitors there are almost two dozen types of attractions, game and billiard halls, shooting range and even an oriental style gazebo by analogy with a pagoda. The park hosts festive events dedicated to the most significant dates, and young musicians, rock groups, as well as children's choreographic groups are regularly engaged here.

The decision to create a park of culture and recreation in the Demsky district of Ufa was made in the postwar years, and in 1950 a new park was opened. At first, the park acted as a garden dotted with flowers, in which there was a cinema and a dance floor. In the late 1950s, a shooting range and a reading room were equipped in the park, and sculptures appeared on the paths. A few years later, a chess hall and skating rink were built. In the following years, something changed, rebuilt, but one thing remained unchanged - the comfort and pleasure of visitors.

Nowadays, the area of the park covers 4.5 hectares, on which there are numerous entertainments - interest circles, cafes, a slot machine hall and attractions. The park is replete with greenery - along the paths stretched in slender rows of decorative tui and Christmas trees, numerous alpine slides. For the youngest in the park there is a mini-pool "Golden Fish", the bottom of which is lined with cute mosaics, and there are funny figures on the edges.
