Asiya Mosque

The mosque "Asia" is located in the village of Maksimovka - this is the Kalininsky district of Ufa. Asiya Mosque became the fifth city mosque. The name of the mosque was chosen not by chance, because "Asia" is primarily the Arabic name for Asia, and secondly - this word is translated as "consolation, healing."

The history of this temple, which appeared on the city map recently, is remarkable because its construction was carried out not at the expense of religious organizations or city authorities, but at the donations of the family of the famous entrepreneur Ildus Urazbakhtiev. He did so following the will of his grandfather, who was a mullah and was subjected to repression in the 1930s.

The mosque is a picturesque building with a minaret lined with red brick, located at a small distance from residential buildings. The domes are decorated with traditional Islamic ornaments.
