Description:

Hamza-Haji Mosque is located in the Sipailovo microdistrict and belongs to one of the many urban Muslim communities. Its construction began in 1996 and was carried out on voluntary donations of entrepreneur Khamza-hadji Gallamov. The mosque opened its doors to believers ten years after the construction began.

A small mosque with white walls, a green roof and a low minaret, surrounded by residential buildings, serves not only as a spiritual center for Muslims. In a sense, it is the architectural dominant of the area, bringing to life the rather monotonous landscape of a typical “bedroom district”. The mosque has a library where everyone can get acquainted with Muslim literature. The community plans to create a madrasah with a boarding school at the mosque, in which children from low-income families could be trained.
