Munir Mosque

ooh Zaozernaya, 2, Ufa, Republic of Bashkortostan, 450,000, Russian Federation

Description:

Mosque "Munira" is located on the shore of Lake Long, in the Leninsky district of Ufa. The building was built thanks to the great contribution of Munira Baigildina, who heads the urban Muslim women's society. That is why the mosque was named after the charity.

A small, but very picturesque, snow-white modern mosque building can accommodate about 100 parishioners at a time. The project of the mosque was prepared by the architect V. Davletshin, who is also known as the designer of the famous Lyalya-Tulpan cathedral mosque. The construction of the mosque lasted nine years - from 2002 to 2011.

Traditionally, in addition to divine services, the mosque celebrates all memorable dates and Muslim holidays - on holidays, almost the entire population of the surrounding area gathers here. The mosque regularly conducts educational programs and lectures on the basics of the Islamic religion, teaches the younger generation needlework and traditional culinary subtleties. And sometimes the mosque turns into a fashion house - there are shows of fashionable clothes corresponding to the canons of Shariah.
