Monument to firefighters who died in the line of duty

The monument to firefighters who died in the line of duty is located in a small square near one of the fire departments of Ufa. It was installed in 2003, on the eve of Fire Protection Day. The memorial was erected in memory of 47 firefighters who died in the line of duty over the past half century.

The monument is a rectangular stele carved from granite. The central part of the composition is a copper fire bell, to which the flames rise. On the granite are engraved the names of all the dead employees, and on the granite slabs there is an inscription: "Eternal memory of the dead firefighters in the performance of their duty" - in Russian and Bashkir languages.
