Time Machine Sculpture

The monument called "Time Machine" is a sculptural composition dedicated to the R-95Sh engine, which is installed on the Su-25 aircraft. The monument was inaugurated in December 2007. The monument received its name due to the exceptional characteristics of this engine - it has been produced for more than 30 years and, according to many aircraft designers, still has no analogues among combat aircraft engines worldwide.

What is this unusual monument? The composition is based on a real engine R-95SH, which is installed on a pedestal in a metal frame in the shape of a cube. The creators of the sculpture deliberately decided not to close the engine with glass, so that it could be well viewed from all sides. At the bottom of the pedestal there are plates containing the technical parameters of the engine. The inscriptions on the tablets are made in Russian and Bashkir languages. The monument is dedicated to all employees of the Ufa engine-building enterprise.
