Warm lake

The warm lake is an artificially created lake, a cooling pond of the thermal power plant (CHP-2), which is located within the boundaries of the city of Ufa in the residential quarter of Inors. The lake is a favorite place of rest among the local population.

Due to the industrial runoff of the Ufa thermal power plant, the water in the reservoir does not freeze even in winter.

In summer, an official beach is open on the lake, there are cafes, wooden sunbeds and sun umbrellas, showers and changing rooms.

Since the water in the lake does not freeze all year round, many migratory birds winter here instead of flying south.
