Ufa city planetarium is one of the favorite attractions. Opening its doors in July 1964, the planetarium is the only one in Bashkortostan. The first visitors could hear entertaining lectures on the mysteries of Mars, the relationship of life on Earth and solar activity and great geographical discoveries.
The dome of the planetarium has a diameter of 8 meters. This is the stage of a real star theater, which is projected 8300 stars and the contours of famous constellations, including the zodiac. Here you can see the Milky Way, the lines of the celestial sphere, the movement of the Sun and planets, the phases of the Moon, falling meteorites and other cosmic phenomena and processes.
The Ufa planetarium is equipped with the best samples of equipment, and in this regard is among the best in Russia. There is a powerful modern projector with which visitors observe the stars as bright as they are available only to astronauts.
