Museum of Twice Hero of the Soviet Union M.G. Gareev

The museum was built for the 70th anniversary of the birth of M. Gareev. The opening took place on July 8, 1992. The exposition of the museum in the village of Verkhneyarkeevo is built on the problem-chronological principle and is placed in 2 halls. Here are authentic documents, photos, personal belongings of the hero, telling about his life and work.

The central exposition is the office of M. Gareev with his authentic things, repeating the home office in the Ufa apartment. They were handed over to the museum by the family of M. Gareev. An An-2 aircraft was installed on the territory of the museum in 2012. Anyone can go to the cabin of the aircraft, sit at the helm and on passenger seats.

To date, the museum actively works with educational institutions, employees conduct fund work, register cards in the state catalog, advise visitors, organize exhibitions and hold events.
