Caves and mountains of the Urals

Active recreation in the heart of the Southern Urals with a diverse program in different natural areas: visit the famous Urals Krasnousolsky Resort, Toratau Geopark, a natural park, two federal reserves. Try different forms of movement in nature: on horses and on catamarans, on foot and by bus.

Tour programme

1 day. Sightseeing tour at the Krasnousolsky resort

Group meeting: 10.00 local time (difference with Moscow time + 2 hours) in Ufa the central entrance of the UFA Department Store (October Avenue, 31).

Moving to Krasnousolsk (150 km).

Sightseeing tour at the Krasnousolsky resort, including: Tabyn chapel, the place of appearance of the holy icon of the Tabyn Mother of God; Holy springs (mineral and healing water).

The uniqueness of the Krasnousolsk resort is that here on an area of only 15 hectares about 250 springs of mineral waters are knocked out of the bowels of the earth. Each of them differs in a set of specific microelements and has a unique effect on the human body.

Lunch.

Transfer to the village of Imendyashevo (60 km). Arrival at Tabyn Turbage. Accommodation in 2 local rooms.

Acquaintance with Bashkir culture: a story about national Bashkir costumes, a photo session in national costumes. Kumys tasting. Archery: Feel like a real batyr and try your hand at accuracy.

Master class on cooking baursak - a traditional dish of Bashkirs. Since ancient times, Baursak was not just pastries, it symbolized the sun and happiness. It was a day of worship, and it was a day of worship. Dinner.

2 days. horse-riding

Breakfast at the campground.

Radial horse-riding walk (3 hours): with a visit to the Aktash rock, a review of the valley of the Zilim river.

Aktash Rock is a snow-white amphitheater of a rock stretching for hundreds of meters along the bend of the Zilim River. The cliff is composed of plasters, which are traces of the ancient sea. Those who wish will be able to climb the rock and go to the observation deck, from where a beautiful view opens.

Lunch at the campground.

Horseback tour. You will learn interesting facts about horses and what is the peculiarity of the Bashkir breed, see the leader of the herd and foals, as well as tell you the secrets of cooking kumys and (if the season) taste this drink.

3 days. Walk on the rock of Ukly-Kaya

Breakfast.

Radial walking walk to the observation point for a photo shoot: Ukly-Kai rock (180 m above the level of Zilim).

Translated from Bashkir Ukly-Kai means “Shooting Mountain”. According to legend, young Bashkirs shot at the rock before marriage. If the arrow reached the mountain, it was believed that the boy became a man. In confirmation of the legend, arrowheads were often found on the slopes of the rock.

Lunch at the campground. Room release by 12:00.

Road transfer from the western foothills to the high mountain part of the Southern Urals (250 km).

Accommodation at the Tengri tourist base, located in the historical mining village of Kaga.

“Dumplings”*: the evening will be held in a friendly family atmosphere for leisurely conversations and sculpting dumplings from quality village products.

"At a cup of tea ..." - tasting of Bashkir honey, herbal tea and balms of local production.

Dinner.

4 days. Shulgan-Tash Reserve

Breakfast.

Transfer to the Shulgan-Tash reserve (route 100 km).

Visit to the museum and demonstration complex of the Shulgan-Tash Reserve. The basis for the creation of the reserve was the habitation in this region of the nucleus of the pure-blooded aboriginal population of the honey bee - the Burzyan side bee ("Burzyanka") in the conditions of beekeeping - the Bashkir folk craft.

This reserve was the first in the world to protect aboriginal wild bees. Tourists will have the opportunity to taste onboard honey (for an additional fee in the season).

Acquaintance with the object of natural and cultural heritage, included in the preliminary UNESCO World Heritage List: a unique monument of the Paleolithic era - the Shulgan-Tash cave (Kapova cave). Thousands of years ago, primitive people lived in it and left their drawings on the walls - images of animals. Such ancient drawings, before their discovery in this cave, were known only in the caves of Spain and France. Regardless of the time of year, the cave has a constant temperature of +7 Celsius. Therefore, it is necessary to have warm clothes with you.

Master class on playing kuray or archery.

Return to the Tengri tourist base (transfer 100 km). Dinner.

5 days. Bashkir State Reserve

Breakfast.

Motor transport to the Bashkir State Reserve (30 km) - the very first reserve formed in the Southern Urals. The reserve lies in the part of the Urals, where its main ridges Krak and Ural-Tau lose their meridional direction and disintegrate into a network of very complex hills. Acquaintance with the museum and excursion complex of the reserve will begin with the history and features of the nature of the reserve and the Southern Urals, and will end with a walk along the eco-path to the observation tower. At the enclosure with marals you can watch them, learn interesting facts about them and make memorable photos.

Excursion "History of Kaga village and Ural ironworks".

Kaga is one of the most original villages on the territory of Bashkiria, located between two rivers - wise White and playful Kaga. The village was founded in the first half of the 18th century, in the southern part of the Ural Mountains and for several centuries has experienced a rich and interesting history: the construction of an iron factory of the Demidov dynasty and with it the rapid development of the village, the test of fire and famine after a fire, miraculous healing from typhus, etc. We will tell you how the villagers managed to preserve their color, hear their talk, learn about the holidays and customs that are celebrated only here. Dinner at the campground.

6 days. Horse riding

Breakfast.

Horse ride (~5 hours) along the border of the Bashkir State Reserve.

The route takes a step through the picturesque terrain with an overview of the ridges of middle and southern Krak with pine, pine birch and hardwood forests. Departure is designed for ~ 5 hours (depending on weather conditions and the preparedness of the group), a large move is expected and a long stay in the open air, so carefully consider the selection of clothes and shoes.

7 days. Alloy

Breakfast.

Water part: alloying on catamarans or, for those who wish, on kayaks (~5 hours)

Preparation for the water route (the group is equipped with equipment, a choice of catamaran or kayak). Instruction on safety: “Rules of behavior on the route”.

Transfer to the starting point.

Calm current of the river, green banks and picturesque rocks. During rafting, a stop is expected for rest and lunch in the field and swimming. Removal from the route and transfer to the Tengri base.

Rest at the base. Dinner.

8 days. Walking to the Mountain of Grace

Breakfast.

Release of rooms until 12.00

Trekking (walking) to Mount Grace (~10 km).

The path will pass through the pine forest to the observation point. A sharp, almost one hundred-meter cliff towards the bend of the White River (Agidel), from which a wonderful view opens, beautiful at any time of the year - a review of the Bashtau ridge. It is here that the best photos are taken against the background of the Ural mountains.

Lunch. Group transfer from Kaga village to Ufa (UFA Department Store, October Avenue, 31). Estimated arrival in Ufa by 21.00.
