Hiking in the Urals: mountains, rivers

If you are looking for a tour with a diverse active program that includes several types of pleasures, then this offer is for you! Along the route you will climb on horseback to one of the high mountains of the Southern Urals, raft along the main water artery of Bashkiria, visit a cave with rock paintings of the Paleolithic era! Each participant will receive skills in communication with horses, training in horse riding. For a more comfortable ride along the route, car support is provided, carrying equipment and backpacks!

The route is without the category of difficulty, so the experience of participating in horse-water campaigns is not required. The route includes overnight stays in tents.

Tour programme

1 day. Accommodation at the camp.

Independent arrival at the camp (Beloretsky district, Kaga village): from 12.00 to 14.00 local time (difference with Moscow time + 2 hours) on the day of arrival.

If parking for personal cars is required during the tour, it is paid additionally, at a price.

Meeting of tourists in Ufa: 10.00 local time (difference with Moscow time + 2 hours) in Ufa the central entrance of the UFA Department Store (October Avenue, 31). Group transfer to Kaga (300 km).

Meeting of tourists in Beloretsk (auto and railway station): - on the day of arrival from 04.00 to 06.00. Group transfer to Kaga village (80 km). Breakfast.

Accommodation in the room, earlier than the billing hour, is possible if there are free seats. It is also possible to check-in on the eve of the day of arrival from 20.00 to 22.00 (subject to payment for a group transfer and an additional night at the camp).

14:00 - Arrival at the Tengri tourist base. Accommodation in a 2-seat room in a dome house built of energy-saving material.

Lunch in the dining room with panoramic views of the Ural Mountains and the village of Kaga.

Safety training on the route.

Introductory horse-riding exit in the vicinity of the village (~ 2 hours, ~ 8 km).

Acquaintance with the horse that will be your best friend for the next five days; in practice, learn how to saddle horses and consolidate riding skills on the first radial walk.

Excursion "History of Kaga village and Ural ironworks" (~ 40-60 min.).

Kaga is one of the most original villages on the territory of Bashkiria, located between two rivers - wise White and playful Kaga. The village was founded in the first half of the 18th century, in the southern part of the Ural Mountains and for several centuries has experienced a rich and interesting history: the construction of an iron factory of the Demidov dynasty and with it the rapid development of the village, the test of fire and famine after a fire, miraculous healing from typhus, etc. We will tell you how the villagers managed to preserve their color, hear their talk, learn about the holidays and customs that are celebrated only here.

2 days. Bashkir State Reserve

Breakfast.

Horse ride (~5 hours) along the border of the Bashkir State Reserve. The peculiarity of our tour is that you are fully involved in the process of preparing the horses for the walk. Learn to “catch” a horse, under the guidance of an experienced instructor, you will ride the horse yourself. The route takes a step through the picturesque terrain with an overview of the ridges of middle and southern Krak with pine, pine birch and hardwood forests. Departure is designed for ~ 5 hours (depending on weather conditions and the preparedness of the group), a large move is expected and a long stay in the open air, so carefully consider the selection of clothes and shoes.

Late lunch at the Tengri tourist base.

Walk to the Holy Source "Sazhelka" (1 km).

According to legend, the water from this spring stopped the cholera epidemic in the village. This event is associated with the traditional Kagin holiday - the Promised Day, which takes place every year on August 21. The spring is well-maintained, there is a chapel in honor of St. George. Nicholas the Wonderworker, the font is open. Those who wish can dip and get water.

"At a cup of tea ..." - tasting of Bashkir honey, herbal tea and balms of local production.

3 days. Horse riding

Breakfast.

Horse crossing to the mouth of the Black River (~4-5 hours).

Preparation and departure on horseback: ahead of three days of full immersion in the nature of the Urals and communication with the horse. A string of horses goes to the mouth of the Black River. The path runs along a picturesque trail in the mountains and passes “lightly”: on the tour there is auto support, things to the parking lot are transported by car.

Upon arrival at the place - cooking, camp setting, rest by the river. (Night in tents, food in the field).

4 days. Kraka Ridge

Breakfast in the field.

Horse ride from the mouth of the Black River to the Krak Ridge (~3 hours).

We explore the Ural mountains on horseback, fascinating views, rugged mountainous terrain, picturesque glades with grass. After enjoying the beauty, we will return to the camp to relax, swim and enjoy communication by the fire. (Night in tents, food in the field).

5 days. Horse ride to the campground

Breakfast in the field.

Horse crossing to the Tengri tourist base (~ 3 hours).

Horse saddle, camp and back! The road will pass along a new route, but also "light" - things to the base will be transported by a car. In the course of the movement, we will overcome several fords (at a low water level in the river), consolidate the skills of riding on rough terrain.

6 days. Alloy start

Breakfast.

Preparation for the water route (the group is equipped with equipment). Instruction on safety: “Rules of behavior on the route”.

Transfer to the starting point.

Connoisseurs say that from the village of Kaga begin the most beautiful places on the river White (Agidel). This section of the path is even called the “Gallery of Nature”, since the best masterpieces of the Southern Urals are collected here. Field feeding. Overnight in tents. Length of alloy ~ 8 km

7 days. Continuation of alloying

Continuation of alloying (~ 10 km). You will be surrounded by mountains covered with coniferous and mixed forests, limestone rocks. At the parking lots, it is possible to collect berries and mushrooms (depending on the season), organize a tourist bath, swim in a clean mountain river, coziness and warmth of the fire.

9 days. Shulgan-Tash Reserve

Breakfast.

Transfer to the Shulgan-Tash reserve (100 km).

Visit to the museum and demonstration complex of the Shulgan-Tash Reserve. The basis for the creation of the reserve was the habitation in this region of the nucleus of the pure-blooded aboriginal population of the honey bee - the Burzyan side bee ("Burzyanka") in the conditions of beekeeping - the Bashkir folk craft. This reserve was the first in the world to protect aboriginal wild bees. Tourists.

There will be an opportunity to taste onboard honey (for an additional fee in the season).

Acquaintance with the object of natural and cultural heritage, included in the preliminary UNESCO World Heritage List: a unique monument of the Paleolithic era - the Shulgan-Tash cave (Kapova cave). Thousands of years ago, primitive people lived in it and left their drawings on the walls - images of animals. Such ancient drawings, before their discovery in this cave, were known only in the caves of Spain and France. Regardless of the time of year, the cave has a constant temperature of +7 Celsius. Therefore, it is necessary to have warm clothes with you.

Lunch with elements of Bashkir cuisine. Acquaintance with Bashkir customs. A master class in archery or playing the kurai.

Return to the Tengri tourist base (100 km).

Dinner.

10 days. Walking on the mountain Grace

Breakfast.

Rest in Kaga. Release rooms until 12:00 (local time).

Walking on the mountain Grace (8 km). A sharp, almost one hundred-meter cliff towards the bend of the White River (Agidel), from which a wonderful view opens, beautiful at any time of the year - a review of the Bashtau ridge.

Lunch.

Independent departure after lunch (until 15.00 local time).

Departure to Ufa: (from 15.00 to 16.00 local time). On the day of departure, after lunch, a group transfer from Kaga village to Ufa (UFA Department Store, October Avenue, 31). Estimated arrival in Ufa by 21.00.

Departure to Beloretsk: (from 15.00 to 16.00 local time).
