Ural walks (winter)

A rich program that gives a great opportunity to get new emotions and impressions: visiting the sights of the city of Ufa, a trip to the mountainous part of Bashkortostan, a winter trip on skis along the snow-capped slopes, mastering the skills of snowmobile management, horse-drawn walk along forest paths, acquaintance with the history of the mining village, immersion in the life of mining peasants.

1 day

10.00 - Meeting with the representative of the tour operator "Tengri" in the lobby of the hotel "Bashkiria"*. Documentation and organizational issues.

Bus sightseeing tour of the city of Ufa (3 hours)

Visit to the exhibition "Yasper Room" in the National Museum of the Republic of Bashkortostan, which presents works in the technique of Florentine mosaic. It is a rare art form that is currently practiced by only a few masters in Russia. “Eternal” paintings and boxes are created from several thousand processed stone elements, mainly from Ural jasper.

Completion of the excursion program of the day by 15:30.

If desired, tourists can stay for a tour of the main halls of the National Museum, which is considered one of the oldest museums in Russia - it is more than 150 years old (ticket price: from 150 rubles).

Independent dinner.

On the territory of Ufa there is a Botanical Garden of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Limonary (an oasis of the tropics). We invite you to the excursion, with the possibility of photography, to the greenhouses of Limonaria, filled with beautiful flowers and delightful aromas. A visit to the La La Tulip Mosque is a unique religious building that has no analogues in the world. Within the walls of this mosque there is an Islamic cultural and educational center.

Visit to the Oil Museum*** (on request). But not only honey and southern Ural mountain ranges is glorious Bashkiria. Bashkiria is also oil, gasoline, petrochemical products, and ordinary soda, which is in every house! We will learn about the two-hundred-year history of Bashkir oil, hear its smell, try on an oilman’s suit, listen to a singing oil rig.

Visit souvenir shops and the Ufa market, which is replete with generous gifts of nature. Here you can buy souvenirs, honey, kumys, apple cider and mead, horse sausage and much more to pamper your relatives and friends upon arrival. Recommended traditional souvenirs from Bashkiria and the Southern Urals: down and fur products, felt products (Bashkir skullcap), jewelry with Ural stones, cosmetic sets from beekeeping products, folk musical instruments (kubyz). Breakfast at the hotel. Room eviction.

Group transfer to Kaga (300 km).

Accommodation at the Tengri tourist base. Lunch.

Selection of snowmobile equipment. Instruction. Walking tour along the border of the Bashkir State Reserve, the ridges of Middle Krak (30-40 km).

Dinner. “Over a cup of tea...” – tea ceremony (herbal tea) and tasting of Bashkir honey.

The village bath is "white."

Breakfast. Training in horse management skills. Horse riding: in a sleigh. Perhaps, for an extra fee, riding a horse.

The most picturesque and diverse views of Bashkiria, its mountains and steppes, rocks and hills, forests and rivers will make an indelible impression. A great opportunity to get acquainted with the winter forest, traces of animals and see the rich variety of birds that live in the forest in winter. Acquaintance with the history of the area and a visit to the 19th century architectural monument - Nikolsky temple. Excursion "History of Kaga village and Ural ironworks".

Interactive excursion "Lunch from the oven" in the museum "House of a factory peasant of the 19th century". Immersion in the life of mining peasants, the secrets of cooking bread in a Russian oven, lunch "from the Russian oven", as well as memorable photos in folk costumes.

Departure to Ufa: a group transfer is organized on the day of departure. Place of arrival: 31 October Avenue, Ufa Department Store. Estimated arrival by 21:00.

Accommodation

There are two possible accommodation options on the tour.

Hotel 4 * in the center of Ufa, double room with amenities. Possibly for an additional fee single accommodation.

A) Tengri Turbage is a tourist complex, in which the buildings of the late 19th century (the estate of the mining hospital) and modern dome houses harmoniously coexist. On the territory-detached building of the kitchen-dining room, the house of the administrator of the tourist base, baths, houses for accommodation of guests, a place for parking vehicles;

Checkout hour: 12:00. In case of availability of seats / rooms, early check-in / late departure without additional charges is possible.

Accommodation: "comfort." Dome house with a total area of 60 m2; Each dome house has 3 rooms (2-3 local) and 2 communal bathrooms. Equipment of the room: 2-3 single beds with orthopedic mattresses, cabinets / shelves for storing things, a mirror. Heating / water supply / sewerage - centralized;

Possible single accommodation in the room (for an additional fee);

 

Food:

- stationary, according to the program, the cook prepares food;

Requests for special food, including vegetarian, require prior approval from the tour operator.

Not included in the price:

Individual transfers (including air and railway tickets), self-catering, additional services in hotels, alcoholic beverages, a luggage tray, additional excursions (including activities, baths), souvenirs.

Equipment supplied:

For an additional fee, you can rent at the tourist base: valenki, tourist skis, snowmobiles "Polaris" with equipment.

Escort:

Age of tourists:

14 years and older. Children from 7 years old are allowed on the route, accompanied by parents.

List of recommended personal equipment (don’t forget):

Backpack/bag; warm headdress, covering the ears; (possibly "slapbar x / b", covering the forehead, nose and mouth from wind and frost); scarf; waterproof mittens (or 2 pairs per shift); boots (or book for rent); 2-3 pairs of wool socks; comfortable warm outerwear, not restricting movement; warm sports suit; wool tights; changeable set of thermal underwear. Swimming / swimming pools (there are different baths!)

Remember: Personal hygiene items (washing set, comb, hiking towel, toilet paper), personal first aid kit, flashlight, photo / video equipment (in a waterproof case).

Carefully consider the choice of shoes: warm and allows you to move along winter forest trails (excursions to natural sites).

To visit the pool: towel, cap, washing accessories, slates.

You must have personal documents with you, as well as a compulsory health insurance policy.

For tourists, please note:

The average air temperature in the winter months in the Southern Urals (on the territory of Bashkortostan) is at night -15,-25 ° C, in the afternoon -10, -20 ° C. In order not to spoil the impressions of outdoor activities, be more attentive to the selection of personal equipment. Experience suggests that valenki – still vital Russian winter shoes!

Important:

It is necessary to arrive at the meeting place at the appointed time, otherwise the financial responsibility for joining the group lies entirely with the tourist.
