Museum “Urban Planning and Architecture of Simbirsk-Ulyanovsk”

The museum reveals the history of the development of Simbirsk-Ulyanovsk, shows the originality of the architectural appearance of the Volga city. The museum presents authentic urban planning plans, drawings, photographs of preserved and lost buildings, as well as postcards of the early twentieth century and picturesque works with views of the city. The museum also houses models of the Simbirsk Kremlin and Gostiny Dvor. A worthy place in the exposition of the museum is given to the activities of outstanding architects of the XIX-XX centuries: M.P. Corinthsky, F.O. Livchak, A.A. Shode, M.S. Davydova, E.I. Golenko, etc.
