Museum "People's education of Simbirsk province in 70 - 80 years of the XIX century"

The museum was opened on July 25, 1981, on the eve of the 150th anniversary of the birth of I.N. Ulyanov (inspector and then director of folk schools of the Simbirsk province). The complex of the museum includes a memorial exposition of the I-th women's parish school, opened by I.N. Ulyanov in 1871, and a wing, a former teacher's house, where a documentary exposition is located.

The museum presents materials on the development of education in the Simbirsk province in the 2nd floor. XIX-nach. XX centuries, the training of teachers, the work of leading methodologists, the organization of the educational process in national schools.
