About the company:
The museum was opened on February 5, 2004 on the site of the former estate of State Councillor A.M. Sakharov, where in 1904 there was a photo studio. Simbirsk photographers worked there. The museum introduces visitors to the history of photography in the Simbirsk province. The museum recreated the photographic pavilion of the K. XIX – early XX centuries, a photo laboratory, old cameras are presented. The exhibition hall of the museum represents the work of modern photographers.
