The gate church of St. Philip Metropolitan of Moscow is located in the western wing of the monastery wall of the ensemble of the Valdai Iversky Monastery. The church was built in 1873-1874 according to the project of the engineer-architect Saveliev on the site of the dismantled temple of the XVIII century. She's the one who meets pilgrims.
