40 km. from the Great Ustyug, among the majestic pine forest, is the patrimony of Santa Claus. Enthusiastic emotions are caused by getting from winter right into summer.
The garden is fenced off from the cold of the Russian winter with thick glass. In bright light, similar to sunlight, grow exotic plants from around the world: cacti, palm trees, pineapples, lemons. In flower beds and greenhouses there are many colorful flowers and shrubs. Along the beautifully decorated paths are placed statuettes of animals. Among the trees fly colorful parrots, canaries and other birds that adorn the garden, adding realism to the tropical landscape. What smells and sounds!
The winter garden is divided into two halves by a stream, over which a carved bridge with railings spread. Beautiful colorful fish of different sizes swim in the water.
A visit to the winter garden, along with aesthetic pleasure, also has a cognitive purpose: it gives an idea of how plants from distant countries grow and look.
