Vereshchagin District Museum of Local Lore

A significant part of the exhibits of the Vereshchaginsky regional museum is obtained from public museums: Museum of military glory of secondary school N1 in Vereshchagino, public museum of the village Voznesenskoe Vereshchaginsky district. The museum has been in municipal ownership since 1991. Exhibits reflecting the work of the railway were presented to the museum by an honorary citizen of the city of Vereshchagino, N.N. Prozorov. Many of them operate: tedephone, telegraph, letter-printing apparatus, locomotive speedmeter, Morse sound apparatus, signal lights, railway traffic lights. These items attract the most attention of visitors. Exhibits of ethnography come from joint expeditions with Moscow State University, Perm Regional Museum of Local History in the district. A large contribution to the museum funds was made by donors: A.P. Myalitsyn, N.N. Prozorov, etc.
