About the company:

The Vereysky Local History Museum was established in 1996. At its origins were local historians Pospelov Sergey Alexandrovich, Chupyrina Galina Sergeevna, Morozov Boris Ilyich, Kovalevskaya Rosa Petrovna. The museum is located in the old house of the merchant Mityushin, now connected with the building of the former district school. It is located in a picturesque place, on the high bank of Protva, near the ancient settlement, the Nativity Cathedral (1552), the chapel of the Great Martyr Paraskeva Friday (XIX century). The museum connects the ancient history and the present day of Verea. The museum has four halls: a historical and ethnographic hall dedicated to the events of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-45 and two exhibition halls.
