About the company:

The Verkhneufalei Museum of Local History was opened on November 3, 1967 and is located in two old merchant mansions built in 1894 and 1924. The museum was created by a group of people who are not indifferent to history, who were engaged in collecting materials, historical information and exhibits.

Among the first exhibits is a desk with a set of chairs sent to the Verkhneufaleysky factory as humanitarian aid from the Berg College (St. Petersburg) after the Great Fire, when 1,008 residential buildings, factory offices, Holy Transfiguration Church, public buildings burned down in one day (19 May 1890). This set for many years was part of the interior of the office of the plant manager.

Today, the museum has more than 26 thousand items and includes various collections from archaeology to numismatics, assembled in the museum for 55 years.

Having visited the museum, each visitor will pass a centuries-old path from the early iron to the XXI century, visit the enchanted Ural forest and the underground kingdom of the Mistress of the Copper Mountain, get acquainted with the work of the writer Paul Severny and learn a lot of interesting and informative things.
