Excursion programme

• Fuck it. From Nazran, having covered 60 km by car along the modern highway and the Georgian Military Road, you will get to the Sunny Valley of Armkha.
• Jeirach Gorge. Sun Valley - this name was fixed for the Jeirakh gorge, at the bottom of which the Armhi River flows, due to the abundance of sun and light here. On the right side of the gorge is the mountain Myat-Lom (Table Mountain), and on the left side are the spurs of the large Caucasian ridge. Here you will enjoy beautiful landscapes and a huge number of historical monuments.
• The valley of Armhi, which has a direction from east to west, is extremely long illuminated by the sun not only in summer but also in winter. Winter here is fabulously beautiful, the blue sky is rarely covered with clouds. Everything is covered with fluffy snow sparkling in the sun, and the air is so clear and transparent that the sound of footsteps diverges far around. Traveling in the Sun Valley in winter is no less attractive than in summer.
• Erzi Tower Complex is one of the largest medieval castle-type tower complexes in mountain Ingushetia. In the past, the castle was surrounded by a high stone defensive wall with wide gates. You will learn how tower architecture originated and developed in medieval Ingushetia, hear folk legends about this complex.
• Lyazhginsky waterfall is one of the most beautiful places in mountain Ingushetia. The hike to the waterfall is about 30 minutes on foot along the tourist forest trail.
• The rural settlement of Guli is the highest settlement in Ingushetia, where the oldest person on the planet lives (his age is 122 years).
• Tsai Loam mountain pass. From the height of the mountain pass (2100 m above sea level) there is a magnificent view of the Jeirakh gorge and the snow-covered peak of Kazbek - one of the highest peaks of the Caucasus (5033 meters). Kazbek is especially beautiful and majestic in the early clear morning, when its snow-white icy peak, which has not yet had time to shroud in clouds like a diamond, shines against the blue sky. Climbing this mountain is the dream of many climbers.
• Mount Tsei Loam (according to local legends, this is the Throne Mountain of the god Sela) - 3171 m. The sacred mountain of Tsei Loam is often hidden in fog or shrouded in clouds, giving it a mysterious gloom and ominous appearance. The changing appearance of the mountain, its mood gave it an aura of holiness and mystery. I will introduce you to the ancient Ingush mythology, tell you what the mountain was identified with among the locals, what gods they believed in and how this faith was reflected in the Ingush realities.
• The medieval tower town of Egikal. This is one of the largest tower complexes in the territory of Mountain Ingushetia, consisting of a classical Ingush battle tower and more than 60 ruined semi-combat and residential tower structures with various annexes. You will know what they are and what they are like. On the walls of the diverse towers of Aegikal, you can see the impressions of the brushes and fingers of the masters of builders, numerous petroglyphs, tamgas and paint drawings.
• Cyclopean fortress houses. Megalithic (cyclopean) buildings are the remains of fortress houses, composed of huge stone blocks. Scientists date them to the second half of the II thousand BC.
• The Vonushki Castle Complex. The late medieval castle complex is a unique architectural monument. Located on the high ridges of slate rocks in the gorge of the Guloi-hi River and consists of two separate castles, once connected by a suspension bridge. In 2008, Vovnushki became a finalist in the All-Russian competition “Seven Man-Made Wonders of Russia”.
• Temple of Taba-Yerda (VIII century). Christian temple, one of the oldest in Russia and the most mysterious monument of history, architecture and religious cult of the ancient inhabitants of mountain Ingushetia. It was built on the site of an ancient pagan temple. I will tell the history and features of the temple, explain how it intricately intertwines the symbols of the Christian religion with elements of local history and pre-Christian views of the Ingush. You will also learn about interesting finds made in the temple.
• The Assinian canyon is majestic and harsh. He seems dark and uncomfortable. Over the road carved in limestone, gloomy rocks hang. Below raging, squeezed by the banks, the violent river Assa. Deafly knocking rolled on the bottom of the large boulders. Splashes of water saturate the air, they, like rain or abundant dew, crumble on the coastal rocks. The wild beauty of the gorge dominates the traveler, I want to quickly escape from his embrace.
• Return to Nazran.

As a result of the tour, you will discover the edge of architectural wonders - medieval tower castles, ancient pagan and Christian temples, get acquainted with the history, ancient legends and legends of the Ingush people and marvel at the grandeur and beauty of the Caucasian nature.

What comes in

The excursion is one-day (up to 9 hours), year-round. The cost of the tour is from 6000 to 7500 RUB per car for a group of up to 4 people (the price includes guide services and transport). In winter, due to the reduction of daylight, respectively, the tour time is reduced.

The point of departure can also be the cities of Magas and Vladikavkaz (North Ossetia).

Meals on the way (lunch in the cafe "Legends of the Mountains" (500-600 RUB / person) or a picnic in nature - lamb kebab (prepared according to a special recipe), fresh vegetables, fruits, cheese, Ingush halva, tea from mountain herbs (1000 RUB / person.)
