“Oka” is a rest on the river bank away from large settlements. The base is located in a picturesque place south of Kaznevo village of Melenkovo district and opens to its guests a wide panorama of real Russian nature.
The first information about the village is in the scribe books of 1628 - 1630 "In 1552 Ivan the Terrible went on a campaign to Kazan." His path lay through the modern Melenkovsk district of the Vladimir region. On the banks of the Oka River, the Terrible executed infertile women, and then founded a village with the St. Nicholas wooden church on the site of executions, called Kaznevo. Since then, much has changed and now the floodplain of the Oka River between Lyakhami and Kazenev is considered a specially protected natural zone.
The base is located in a unique place on the banks of the Oka River.
