Excursion "Sanctity of Vladimir" (thematic).

Vladimir Rus with its temples and shrines is one of the oldest Russian lands. Here the famous icons of the Mother of God were painted and revealed miracles, glorified Russian saints asceticized, numerous churches and monasteries were erected.

Visit:

1. The necropolis of the Assumption Cathedral, where the relics of the great princes rest - Andrei Bogolyubsky, Vsevolod the Great Nest, George and Gleb of Vladimir. Holy Cathedral Vladimir Icon of the Mother of God;
2. The Virgin-Christmas Monastery, where the victorious and wise Grand Vladimir Prince Alexander Nevsky is buried;
3. Holy Dormition Princess Monastery. The main shrine of the monastery is a particle of the relics of the martyr Abraham of Bulgaria. The monastery has a list with one of the few extant pre-Mongol icons. The image of the Theotokos, which is miraculous, was written by order of Prince Andrei Bogolyubsky in honor of the miraculous appearance of the Mother of God to him.
