Monument in honor of the 850th anniversary of Vladimir

The monument in honor of the 850th anniversary of Vladimir was founded on August 23, 1958, to capture an important date in the history of the city.

The monument was opened only on October 30, 1960.

Despite disagreements regarding the date of the founding of the city, the monument was not demolished, it became a protected object and property of the city.
