Description:
In 2007, the Pushkin Park of Vladimir was decorated with a monument to the Baptist of the Vladimir Land. The sculptural group consists of the figure of Prince Vladimir the Red Sun, the founder of the city and Saint Theodore, sitting on a horse.
To go to the monument, you need to pass through the entire territory of the park, from the sculpture to Andrei Rublev, located at the entrance. From the observation deck, visitors have wonderful views of the Klyazma River and nearby settlements.
The official reason for the monument was the celebration of the date of the transfer of the capital of the prince from Kiev to Vladimir.
