Water tower
Description:
The tower is located near the Golden Gate. Now this building is used as a museum, where various exhibits and installations are stored, demonstrating pre-revolutionary life in the city of Vladimir. This is the first tower to become a museum in Russia. The museum is located on the street Kozlov dead end, 14.
The Vladimir Water Tower is an incredibly valuable landmark, both for the city of Vladimir and for the whole of Russia. The building is valued on a par with buildings such as the Assumption Cathedral, the Golden Gate, although the tower is relatively young. Nevertheless, the Vladimir Tower supplied the city with water throughout the first half of the XX century, until it was turned into a museum.
