The famous Vladivostok Millionka, an almost unreal “city in the city”. Only a few blocks, its exact boundaries know only old-timers, although it is located almost in the center. But tourists may pass by and fail to appreciate the intricate maze of houses, stairs, dead ends and passageways. Outwardly, Millionka is capable of causing dislike by devastation, but at the same time it is unique for Vladivostok, as the Cunning, described by Vladimir Gilyarovsky, for Moscow.

In 1870, his own "Chinatown" appeared in Vladivostok, fanzas sculpted to each other - huts from interlaced rods smeared with clay. Fires sometimes destroyed the entire neighborhood along with its bazaar shops, but Chinatown was reborn again and again. The city authorities tried hard to evict the Chinese from the place they seized, but despite the efforts of the police, they failed to do so. In the end, the Manzas actually remained there, but now settled in houses owned by different owners. That's how Millionaire came to be.
