Trinity Bay

A189, Primorsky Krai

Description:

Trinity Bay is a bay in the northeastern part of the Posiet Bay of the Sea of Japan. It is located between Cape Slychkov and Cape Stenin.

The bay was opened in 1862. It got its name in honor of the holiday of the Orthodox Church – the day of the Holy Trinity, since it was on this day that the bay was first discovered.

It was studied in detail in 1888 by the crew of the Vityaz corvette.

The beauty of the nature of these places was amazed by their discoverers. Trinity Bay is surrounded by hills covered with extensive meadows and a rare forest. There is a beautiful sandy beach and precipitous rocky shores, entwined with vegetation, which offer picturesque views of the coast. On the shore of the Bay of Trinity is the village of Andreevka, where there are several recreation centers with all kinds of services for tourists.
