In addition to villages on the coast of the lake is the famous Khankaysky Reserve, where there are representatives of flora and fauna, which are listed in the Red Book. Basically there are ibis, cranes, spoon and many others.
Despite the impressive parameters of Khanka, the lake warms up before all in the summer. Because of this, it is very popular among local residents and visitors. The east coast is always filled with swimmers. There are excellent sandy shores and a small depth. When the weather is cloudy and cool winds blow on the lake, windsurfing competitions begin.
