Lake Malaya Khanka
Khankai district, Primorsky Krai
Description:
Small Khanka has really small parameters. The width of the lake is about 10 kilometers, and the length is slightly more than 35 kilometers. Moreover, the latter is constantly changing due to frequent tides due to the Sungacha River and the Ussuri tributary, which flow into the lake.
The shores of the reservoir are low and sandy. The depth in the lake is also small: from a meter to two. Therefore, Small Khanka is very popular among local residents and visitors. On the beaches, the apple often has nowhere to fall due to the huge congestion of bathers.
Lakes Malaya Khanka and Khanka were once one, but due to natural features disconnected. They are not only connected by sand, but also by numerous ducts.
The water in the lake is fresh, so it can be easily consumed.
