Lake Talmi

The parameters of the reservoir are very impressive. Its length is more than eight kilometers with a width of almost three kilometers. The total area of the lake is about 40 square kilometers. But despite this, the depth is small. In some places it reaches up to one and a half meters. In this regard, on the shores of the lake all year round crowds of tourists. They are attracted by gentle and sandy shores, as well as huge areas for recreation. It is worth knowing that not all areas are ennobled. There are also wetlands.

There is a sea near Talmi. The water bodies are connected by a small duct and a sand spit. In the period of tides due to this, the water level rises and falls in the lake. Because of this, the lake has salt water.

The lake also has two small islands and large peninsulas.
