Seaside Oceanarium

The Primorsky Oceanarium is the largest oceanarium in Russia, its expositions contain more than 500 species of marine and freshwater hydrobionts, the total number of animals living in the complex is more than 15,000 individuals. The collection of the aquarium contains representatives of all oceans and climatic zones of the Earth. Hundreds of living organisms (jellyfish, amphibians, fish, marine mammals) are born thanks to professional breeding programs.

Primorsky Oceanarium is a scientific and educational complex. It is part of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. It has created and successfully operates a collective use center focused on research in the field of marine biology.
