Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Far Eastern State University

The Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography of the Far Eastern State University was opened in 1999, the Museum Fund has more than 300 thousand items of storage. Archaeological and ethnographic exhibits make up the exposition about the history of the region from ancient times to the present day.

A special pride is the collection of objects of the Neolithic era (VIII-II thousand BC). The ethnographic collection tells about the life of the indigenous population of Primorye - Udegeis, Russian settlers of the late XIX - early XX centuries.Many of the exhibits were collected by teachers and students of the State Far Eastern University.
