About the company:
The Primorsky State Art Gallery is the pearl of the Russian Far East, the only museum in Primorye with a rare collection of works of Russian and Western European art. The history of the collection dates back to the 1930s, when precious exhibits were transferred to Vladivostok from the museums of Moscow and Leningrad.
Today, the gallery, which opened to the public in 1966, has more than 8,000 works of painting, graphics, sculpture, Russian (XVI-XX centuries), European (XIV-XX centuries), Soviet and modern art. The permanent exhibition of Russian art of the XVI - early XX century presents samples of ancient Russian icon painting, authentic works of famous masters of Russian painting, including artistic trends of the turn of the XIX-XX centuries.
Every year the gallery organizes exhibitions of domestic and foreign artists. Cultural, leisure and educational events are held: excursions, quests, lectures and creative meetings.
