At the end of the XIX century, one of the first stone marinas of Vladivostok was built on this site for receiving, sending and customs clearance of commercial cargo, the site of one of the first parking lots of Russian ships.
The modern commercial seaport has 16 berths with a total length of 4200 meters, 2 of them are cargo and passenger. The port is ice-free, which allows for year-round navigation. Trade partners of the port are more than 20 countries. The sea station is fifty meters from the railway.
