We will walk through one of the favorite places of the Don Cossacks. I will tell you about the implementation of the ambitious plans of Peter 1 in our region. You will have the opportunity to trace the development of the embankment from the beginning of the 20th century to the restoration after the war. Let us talk about the first bombardment of the city in the Battle of Stalingrad, about the first assault by German troops on the city center, about the resilience of our soldiers. You will find out what happened at this place in September - October 1942. And I will also tell you about the architects who gave the residents of the city, tired of heavy fighting, a place of aesthetic pleasure.
