Excursion about the Immortal Stalingrad, the Battle of Stalingrad, about the Stalingrad heroes. Memorials, monuments - you will see with your own eyes. Events, facts, history, you will hear. And only then you can feel the whole atmosphere of the city of the soldier, the city of the hero, the city of the warrior, which marked the beginning of a radical change both during the Great Patriotic War and the entire Second World War.

The tour begins at the train station, which changed hands 13 times. On the station square you can see the fountain "Children's dance" - the hallmark of the military Stalingrad. On the square of fallen fighters stands a unique natural monument of the battle of Stalingrad – the poplar of the Victory. At its base there is a memorial plaque, the inscription on which reads: “Natural and historical monument”. This poplar carried his life through a great battle.”

On the banks of the Volga we will go down to the wall of Rodimtsev (support wall with the inscription: "Here stood the death of Guards Rodimtsev"). This is where the Volga burned. This is where the soldiers defeated death!

Gergardt Mill is a destroyed building, which many take for the Pavlov House, with all its appearance reminds how it was...

And in memory of those who died.

To preserve the world for a long time,

I don't want my heart to hurt,

A people who could win,

I have to remember everything as it was.

Mamaev Kurgan. A visit to the memorial complex “To the Heroes of the Battle of Stalingrad” and the sculpture “Motherland Calls!” is a tribute to our ancestors. “The iron wind hit them in the face, and they all went forward, and again a sense of superstitious fear seized the enemy: did people go on the attack?
