Kremensky Ascension Monastery.
Description:
One of the oldest Don monasteries, located in the Kletsky district of the Volgograd region, on the picturesque bank of the Don. The main shrine of the monastery is the icon of the Mother of God Augustovskaya, written at the request of the Don Cossacks in memory of the appearance of the Virgin to the Russian army in 1914. In 2014, the Monastery was transferred to the eternal storage of the Belt Particle of the Most Holy Mother of God. During the years of Soviet power, the monastery was destroyed and now the monastery is being restored. During the tour, we will also visit the Log, the temple of Peter and Pal, where the Kazan icon (bleeding) is stored, in the Church of the Holy Trinity in Novogrigoryevka and on the Holy Spring of the Forty Martyrs of Sebaste.
