SOLDIERS' FIELD AND MEMORIAL IN ROSSOS
Description:
Near Volgograd is an unusual military memorial cemetery
in Rossoshki.
It is a place of bloody battles and huge human losses during the Battle of Stalingrad. In 1999, there were two cemeteries. Soviet soldiers are buried on one side, Wehrmacht soldiers are buried on the other. The search teams are still conducting their search work.
Near the memorial cemetery to Soviet soldiers there is a museum of searchers. Very interesting exhibits are exhibited in a small room, which is carefully kept by the search guys themselves.
