The front gate of Volgograd is one of the main attractions of the city. On the stairs try to photograph all the tourists who visit Volgograd. The gate serves as a connection of the upper and lower terrace on the Central embankment of the city. Eight-column propile gracefully frames the platform of the stairs.
Between the gates the distance of the stairs is exactly one hundred steps. Tourists like to sit on them after a walk or after concerts, which are often held nearby. Every year there are celebrations of Victory Day and Russia Day. In the evening and at night there is lighting.
You can get to the front gate from the airport by reaching the embankment of the 62nd Army.
