Sculpture "Motherland Calls!"

“Motherland – Mother Calls” is the main sculpture in the memorial complex located in Volgograd, on the Mamayev Kurgan.
A female figure with a sword is located on a hill that rises 14 meters.
The height of the statue is 85 meters, it is visible from a great distance, its appearance dominates the surrounding space.
Due to its symbolism, the statue is the most visited object in Volgograd. A large number of people constantly come here who want to honor the memory of civilians. And the soldiers who died and suffered during the war.
Volgograd residents and tourists always carry flowers to the monument. Foreign tourists often come here.
