Walking tour "Tsaritsyn - Stalingrad - Volgograd"
The tour starts from the "zero" kilometer and ends at the rotunda on the Upper terrace of the Central Embankment. During the tour, guests will learn about the history of the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, get information about the history of the Tsaritsyn fortress, about the heroic mission and the tragic fate of Stalingrad. During the passage of the route, tourists will see monuments associated with combat and labor exploits. The guide will tell about the history of the unique engineering structures of Volgograd: the “dancing” bridge and the largest river station in Europe.
Walking tour “Merchant Tsaritsyn”
During the tour you will be able to visit the real "islands" of the old Tsaritsyn, lost in the center of modern Volgograd and see unique in its architecture merchant mansions.
You will learn about what Tsaritsyn merchants were - rich people who decided the fate of the city in the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries.
How they earned millions, conflicted with each other, experienced personal tragedies and did good deeds for the good of the city. Hear the history of the main city square and the cathedral and walk through the streets of the long-vanished Transfiguration Forstadt.
Lunch in the city cafe "Candies-drums" (for an additional fee).

4th day – November 6, 2025

09.30 departure by bus (public) to Sareptu - one of the famous areas of Volgograd!
You will see architectural monuments of the XVIII-XIX centuries, Church Square, learn the history of the ancient settlement of Sarepta, as well as about the religion, life, culture and traditions of the Sareptians, visit the Sarept church, visit the "House of the Sarept pharmacist", and in the exhibition halls of the trade store you can appreciate the achievements of Sarepta.
Push mustard
Everyone can take part in the pressing of mustard oil on the hand press!
Organ concerto
Walking through the unique architectural complex built by colonists-gernguters, you will look into the ancient dungeon of the XVIII century, and also visit a mini-organ concert, enjoy live music, because the Sarept organ is the only one in the Lower Volga region with a purely mechanical sound!
Master class in soap making
During the master class in soap making, you will learn:
- from which soap was made in ancient times,
- Why was it once considered a luxury item and
- How to cook soap in Sarepta, at the first soap factory of the region.
You will see the “tools” of soapmakers from the museum’s funds and create your own soap based on an ancient Sareptian recipe!

Walking tour of the Volga-Don Canal
Return by bus to the center of Volgograd. Approximate to 18:00-19:00
19:00 -20.00 Walk on the ship on the Volga (additional area approximately 500/350о)
5th day – November 7, 2025
Breakfast at the hotel until 09.00
10.00 excursion to Mamaev Kurgan.
